A teacher teaches when s/he can relate the topic 2 real-life situations. I've always learned more when I understand the applicability to life. Why do I need Geometry? Playing pool is one application: angle of inflection=angle of deflection!

Good teacher is the one who can teach his/her students how to behave in life and understand things in a better, positive way. Teaching academic syllabus comes next to this only.
