Submit you site to link directory's.Try to submit to as many as possible preferably to ones that do not require a reciprocal link. easysubmits.com has a listing of hundreds of sites that allow one way links and the service is free

Join Forums and create signature to your blog or website. It's a one way link. Join conversations. Don't talk about your site or link when not ask. Let the signature talk about it. Just speak about the topic.
