Add an extra pillow to help mucus flow away. I inhale tea tree oil as soon as I feel my nose start to block. Its anti-septic properties seem to prevent the problem getting worse.

I know what to stay away from. The over the counter nose spray with oxymetazoline is addictive. I shoot it up my nose every couple hours to keep my nose open. Have been for 10 years! Stay AWAY
