If you want to ride the mules down the Grand Canyon, book the ride well in advance, particularly if you want to do the 2 day ride to Phantom Ranch at the bottom. An unforgettable experience.

Planing a trip to Yosemite in the summertime? It is best to leave your canine pal at home. There are very few places where animals are allowed & the blacktop paths where dogs are allowed gets very hot. Neither of you will likely enjoy yourselves.

While it may seem silent and abandoned, there is a lot of life in & around Mammoth Cave. More than 130 species inhabit the cave. Various bats, white spiders, and intriguing eyeless cave fish have naturally adapted to the dark, underground environment.

Salmon, Trout, and Steelhead are commonly found in the lakes & rivers of Olympic National Park. A fishing license is not required within the park boundaries, so bring your pole along and catch a tasty dinner and fry it up fresh over the barbecue!
