You do not pay interest on your new charges if you pay within the free time given you by the Credit Card companies. If you are carrying a balance you pay interest from the day you charge another item. Never charge on a card with a Balance.

Auto Pay setup on your credit card. This will keep you from having any late fees. If you do not pay off the card you will still have interest but no late fees.
