If you are looking for recent information in Google, use the Advanced Search buttom and search by Date/Time. This will allow you see if there are any interesting results from periods such as the Past 24 hours or Past Week.

Show all indexed pages for a specific domain: site:{url} Find pages that link to a specific URL: link:{url} Show Google’s cached version of a specific URL: cache:{url} Find only results from a specific domain: site:{url} {terms}

What most people don't know is, that they can filter the search results of a search engine. Prepend a "-" before a search keyword will remove all resulsts with this keyword. Prepend a "+" makes this keyword mandatory

If you put double quotes around a number of keywords will find the whole search phrase instead of every single keyword. Like "search engine optimization"
