If you get a chili pepper's seeds on your skin, whether your hands or your face (especially the nose), put sour cream on the area and you will get faster relief than with cold water and maybe soap. I have heard that milk helps too. Tip Credibility: 57

Don't go in the hot tub after getting chillies on your hands, it will bring the burn right back, you will feel the heat. Use disposable gloves when cutting up hot peppers and you can avoid the whole problem! Tip Credibility: 8
