If indoors try and get under a doorway or heavy table. Cover the back of your head and your eyes. If outdoors get to an open area away from power lines, buildings, bridges, etc. Stay calm and sit down if possible.

1. Check for Hazards in your homes/offices/schools/ q Place large or heavy objects on lower shelves. q Hang heavy items such as picture frames away from the workstation.

Practice with children ahead of time so they will be more likely to know what to do and stay calm.
