Sorry, WriteAngled, but I have to disagree. Cats should not have dog food and dogs should not have cat food. They have different nutritional needs and it can actually be harmful for them to eat it.

If you have more than one cat, large tins of dog food can be much cheaper by weight than the small tins of cat food. I found such a brand with a much higher % of meat than any cat food I know.
