Never click directly on an e-mail link to a financial institution. Instead, open another browser window and manually type in the financial institution's usual address. Navigate to the page you want from there.

Never "type" ANYTHING into a web browser. How do you access cash from an ATM? You Swipe your Card/ Enter Your PIN. It's called Two-factor authentication and if it's trusted enough to dispense cash, it should be used for online banking log-in
