Use your lawn cuttings to fertilise your veggies. Soak the cuttings in water for a few days and use the juice as liquid fertiliser for your plants. Strawberries especially love it.

Organic fertilizer can be made by simply adding used coffee grounds to your soil. The grounds are high in nitrogen and as a bonus are toxic to slugs and snails. They can be obtained from most coffee shops for free. They also attract worms.

Worm farming creates a rich organic fertilizer. Recycle your food scraps into a great food for your organic garden. You can add the worm cast direct to your plants or dilute it with water to the colour of weak tea and use it as a spray.
