A good idea is too unplug all used electrical equipment, including lamps, computers, etc. They still use energy when turned off... not only is this good for the environment it will save you money too!

If your office or workplace has a paper recycling program use it instead of tossing away used sheets in the trash.

If you need to add flooring to your home office consider cork flooring. Cork is a natural renewable resource and lowers the carbon foot print of your household.

I find that its good to turn down the brightness setting on your laptop and unplug it from the charger when its not in use. Also use hibernate when not in use. For paper - I usually try to read things digitally on an ipad or screen.
