Just be honest and admit you need to eat less. Then eat less: smaller meals, no snacks, have some fresh fruit every day, and a sald every day. Walk more, drink less or no alcohol, less sitting down watching rubbish on TV with so many food and drink ads.

Try to reduce the processed foods in your diet. They may be tasty but they are energy dense, packed with calories from saturated fats and added sugars. Try to gradually increase the fruits, vegetable and fibre rich carbohydrates in your diet.

Get a partner to exercise with! Your dog would love to walk further than the back yard, so take Rufus for a brisk wal twice a day and you'll both feel better as you get your metabolism in balance!

Eat oatmeal for breakfast and fruits as a snack or after a meal. Have dinner at a specific time everyday and when you are full stop eating. Skip desert or share one serving. Before going to bed take a 30-45 minute walk around your neighborhood.

Look for the "hard" way rather than the "easy" ways - take the stairs instead of the elvator, park at the far end of the lot, get off the bus 1 stop early, volunteer for some active community action instead of desk work.

Combine excercise with family activity, bike ride, hike, play sports. Keeping active will keep you healty and control your weight, knowing you're not loosing time with your family will help make it more enjoyable and help keep it more routine

Consistency is the key. So it's a good idea to vary your exercise routine regularly so you don't lose interest. This will also force your body to continually adapt and improve. I like to change up the exercises I do in the gym every four weeks.

Take Your Time When You Eat - If you eat slower it's better for your digestive system. Plus it should take about 20 minutes before you start to feel full. When you eat too fast you tend to eat too much.

Don't Eat In Front Of The TV If you are sitting in front of the TV you are not moving. Eating and sitting in front of the TV may encourage you to eat more. This an especially bad habit if you watch a lot of TV.

If you are trying to lose weight you should watch what u drink. Even though juices and milk are healthy they contain calories. I used to drink 10 bottles of Snapple Lemon Tea. Each bottle has 180 calories! When I cut down to 1 per day I lost weight.

I have lost nearly 6 kilos in 4 weeks from changing just one thing only. That is having brown bread instead of white. Amazing. Still eat the same amount, just a different colour. lol
