Create a list of words. Put yourself in the customer’s shoes and think what words they would use. Write down as many as you can. Better yet, record them in an electronic spreadsheet for easier editing later. Choose single words and multiple word phrases

You can also use Google's Insight for Search to generate a list of keywords - they will show you any related keywords that are experiencing a surge in search traffic

Another way to find keywords is to look at Google's Wonder wheel - go to the search results, click more search tools on the left, and then click the wonder wheel - it shows you all the popular related keywords to the one you searched.

Another place to generate keywords is Google's free external keyword tool. Type in your main keyword, and Google will generate related keywords and show you how many people search for them.

Another way to find keywords is to use Google's suggestion tool. When you type words into the search engine, it will create a dropdown with searches related to yours, based on how popular they are.
