Tip Sheet

Frasier. Intelligent comedy that lasted 11 seasons and kept up the laughs through all of them. Perfect cast, right down to Eddie the dog. Infinitely rewatchable and the perfect end to a hectic day.

Rules Of Engagement! I liked Jeff when he was on Sienfeld and he is much better on this show. Adam and Russell aren't bad either. The ladies rock as well. Thumbs up, 10 out of 10!

If you can get hold of copies of "Yes, Prime Minister" - great stuff - it gives you a very good picture of how the government is run in the UK. Nothing's changed!

A lot of Jasper Carrott had me in tears - check out YouTube, as you'll find a few clips there. Be warned, though - it's a very British type of humour.

I would always take time out to watch "Only Fools and Horses" - UK. I've known quite a few "Del boys"!

Cheers was always one that I likes to watch, many of their shows were pretty funny.

Arrested Development is one of my "Better than Seinfeld" shows. To bad it only lasted 3 seasons. They do a lot of character development, so watching in order from episode #1 is key to enjoying some of the "hidden" humor.

I recommend Curb Your Enthusiasm if you are into funny situations and obnoxious personalities. Larry David (one of the creator of Seinfeld) is a funny man who writes only beats but not the scripts but they end up brilliant!

My Name is earl is one of the funniest, laugh out loud tv shows I've ever seen. Jason Lee is awesome, as well as the rest of the cast. A must see!

"Two and a Half Men" -- Surprisingly hilarious. I don't watch many sitcoms, but this is my current fave. Have caught a couple of "30 Rock" episodes and liked those, as well.

For straight up comedy I would suggest MASH, Newsradio and Scrubs. But for some deeper enjoyment I enjoy Picket Fences, Friends and highest rated of them all Boston Legal!

Don Knotts as Barney Fife on the Andy Griffith Show. Now he is a knott. Great comedian...he will be missed!

I also like George Lopez, the best part is his relationship with his mother, it's priceless.
