Get a Bachelor or Masters degree in Sweden! Unversities: NO tuition fees! Your kid must have junior college. Find info at Sweden's official site studera.nu (Visa is easily obtained if you can prove you have money for living expenses migrationsverket.se)

Be sure your child researches the weather and environment of the location his/her school choices are.

Have spoken with college advisors who look favorably on getting to meet interested high schoolers early in their high school year. It gives them some barometer for the kids' growth and potential

If your high schooler has a specific talent (sports, arts, music, etc)have them start sending introduction letters to their top ten colleges in their Sophomore year. Colleges start looking at recruits in the Jr year and they need to know you're out there

Consider your kid's "resume". With so much competition out there, start early so you can spice up their extra-curricular with community service, jobs, activities. Make sure your kid looks well-rounded on paper
