I agree, children should be more active OUTSIDE the house. Parents have a responsibility to watch what their children eat. Cut out the computer games and Hamburgers. But then on the other I suppose it is the easy way out for parents. Who do you blame?

Who else can you blame? The parents are the ones that are ultimately in control. Stop using the TV and Wii as a babysitter, remove the french fries and Pop Tarts and get your kids on a bike! Better yet, ride one with them!

Feed your children healthy meals and take them outside to play everyday. Limit "screen time" (video games, tv, computer) and candy/cokes/McDonalds to a moderate level. Parents need to go outside and play (bike, swim, run, catch) with their children.

Sport and food supervision is a perfect solution but, how to make the children realizes about this serious problem? the solution is : show them one role model that will become their future. It may be a "too fat" adult who walk in the street.
