When you are stuck on a problem try taking a walk. Not only will you get a health benefit from a brisk 10-15 minute walk, but this can free the logjam of your thoughts

I've also found writing about it helps. Just grab a pen and pad and write down your thoughts. Walk away for awhile and then read it. You'll be amazed how it can put it in prospective.

I find a similar benefit from running. I will often head out for an hour and come back with several pages written in my mind, or several options to solving a problem.
