Alternate 3 layers of sheets and waterproof pad, one on top of each other (sheet/pad/sheet/pad, etc). If there's a wet bed in the middle of the night simply strip off the top layers and have clean & dry ones underneath. Re-stack during daylight hours.

Dictionary programs are designed to guess easy emails. If you create a new email address, use something more complicated than your name. Short emails are also easier to guess. Addresses hard to guess by scam programs have a lot less junk mail.

If you forward a joke to some friends, put their emails in the BCC line so scraper programs can't extract them from your message. Also delete all the addresses you see at the top of the forward to help protect your friends from scammers.

If you have a wireless router, be sure to secure it. Otherwise your neighbors could use your internet service and you'd be liable for any of their illegal downloads. Always secure your network so you don't share your bandwidth without your knowledge.
