| Fit ceiling fans in all your rooms so that in the warmer months you can use them instead the air conditioning. An average aircon unit runs at around 2Kw, a ceiling fan runs at around 150 watts, about 90% cheaper to run! The environment loves you too! Tip Credibility: 5 |
| Learn how to drive more efficiently, treat the gas pedal gently, look ahead, ease off the gas early, let the engine slow you down rather than driving up to a hazard and then having to brake, find out your vehicles most efficient cruising speed and use it. Tip Credibility: 5 |
| A simple way to save water is to fill a small plastic bag or bottle with water and put it in the toilet cistern. Every time you flush you save that quantity of water without reducing the effectiveness of the action. This saves water and money! Tip Credibility: 4 |
