| Please do not use garlic...it's very bad for cats. I use Revolution for fleas and heart worm protection (though I wish I had a natural way to do this)but I'm not sure it covers ticks. Tip Credibility: 4 |

| I've also found writing about it helps. Just grab a pen and pad and write down your thoughts. Walk away for awhile and then read it. You'll be amazed how it can put it in prospective. Tip Credibility: 4 |
| Brushing is good and try giving your cat some petroleum jelly (Vaseline, just make sure it's pure and has nothing esle added). It helps them pass the hair. You can buy Laxatone, or something similar, and they are good too, but Vaseline is cheaper. Tip Credibility: 4 |
| I wanted to tell everyone about using Calendula for acne in cats. I get the liquid kind, mix it with water and clean the chin well. It is absolutely amazing at how well it works. The creams my vet gave me never did, so I tried this. A lot cheaper too! Tip Credibility: 73 |
| If you're having problems getting your cat to eat, try grinding up some dry food and sprinkling it on the canned food. Plain meat baby food is also a good choice when they are sick or just not eating well, assuming you have had them checked out by a vet. Tip Credibility: 4 |
