My friend have a 95 Kawasaki 900zxi and I know if he use them in salt water the ring around the impeller seizes up due to corrosion.put a hose into the back of the ski and let it run for 15 mins and then soak it in WD 40.

Plan ahead to decrease your braking. Your brakes waste valuable kinetic energy by turning it into heat. Coast into driveways & coast up to stop lights. Be careful, don't run any red lights or collide with anything while trying to save kinetic energy.

If you live in the desert be sure to have at least a gallon of water for yourself & more to put in the car if it over heats. A rag to dampen & place on your head to help avoid heat stroke. Feminine napkins make great sterile swabs for any injury.
