Check what local social networking sites exist near you. Get active on them. Answer people's questions about your area of expertise. Don't push your business on them. Be genuinely helpful. You'll gain credibility as a helpful business they want to use. Tip Credibility: 5
When you use numbers in article titles (such as "5 Tips to..." or "The 7 Best Ways to...") you grab attention. Your use of numbers implies that your article will get straight to the point on each tip and be easy to read. Tip Credibility: 4
Don't round off the numbers you use in copywriting. For example, if you say that 5,000 people tried something, people will suspect you're exaggerating. But if you say that 5,123 people tried it, readers will take it more seriously. Tip Credibility: 5
Numbers make abstract comments sound more real. They increase your credibility. It's the old "4 out of 5 dentists recommend..." effect. Saying that "many dentists recommend..." doesn't sound nearly as impressive as "4 out of 5 recommend..." Tip Credibility: 4
Search YouTube for the keywords you want your video found for. As much as possible, apply the same tags to your video that the most popular videos for those keywords use. This gives you a greater chance of being listed as a related video when they appear. Tip Credibility: 4
Don't buy impulse tools or training just because they're limited time offers that won't be available later. Buy them only if they fit into your business plans RIGHT NOW. You'll save money and stay focused on achieving your present goals. Tip Credibility: 4
Rather than fixing the pages that have the largest percentage of exits, fix the pages that have the largest number of exits. A page that gets 10 visitors a day but loses 100% loses you fewer customers than one that gets 200 visitors but loses 10%. Tip Credibility: 4
Get links to your site by commenting on other blogs in your industry. Make intelligent, thoughtful comments. Other readers will click the link to see what else you have to say on your site. Tip Credibility: 4
In copywriting, add an "s" to your verbs. When you say, "Improve (whatever) with my product," readers see your product as needing their help to get results. When you say, "My product improves your..." they see it as the results itself. Tip Credibility: 4
