Tuning an Antenna for CB Radio

When tuning your CB Radio you need to use an SWR Meter. This must be placed within 30cm of the Rig, the reason for this is Inaccuracies in your readings. The further the meter is coupled from the rig the more inaccurate the readings. That could cost:-)

Should you just be getting into CB Radio or Ham Radio, this tip will save you hours of frustration and pain in the wallet. Never Never Key your Microphone before you have connected and tuned the aerial (antenna).
