The latest tips I've posted to TipDrop.
| After the last rep of a set, try and get one more and continue to push or pull against the bar for 20 seconds. On exercises like benches and squats be sure to have a spotter or use a power rack to keep from hurting yourself. Tip Credibility: 10 |
| Use progressive overload. If you're benching 150 for 10 reps now and a year from now you're still benching 150 for 10 reps you aren't going to build muscle. Tip Credibility: 8 |
| Create a calorie deficit through proper nutrition, weight training and cardio. No matter how in shape your abs are, you need to get rid of the layer of fat that's hiding your six pack. Tip Credibility: 6 |
| Submit high quality articles to social news sites like http://digg.com and http://propeller.com Tip Credibility: 17 |
| Once your article is live, bookmark it. Also ping it using a service like http://pingomatic.com Tip Credibility: 12 |
| Check out the titles most viewed articles for a category on Ezine Articles. Look for a common thread amongst the titles and how the titles are written then model your article the same way. Last month most fitness articles were about Hugh Jackman. Tip Credibility: 9 |
| Do your research. Be sure to write about topics that your readers want (ie, will get traffic) and not topics you want to write about or that you think people want to read. Tip Credibility: 9 |
| Train your abs like any other muscle. Add some intensity by adding some weight to your ab exercises and lower the reps per set to the 12 - 25 range. And don't train them every day. Give them time to recover just like you do with your other muscle groups. Tip Credibility: 8 |
| Stick to the basic exercises like squats, deadlifts, stiff legged deadlifts, lunges, dips, chin ups, etc. and avoid silly little machines Tip Credibility: 10 |
| Do more work in less time. Start slowly decreasing your rest time between sets while working hard to keep your weights and reps the same. Tip Credibility: 9 |
| Drink a post-workout shake. Here is a version of my favorite muscle building post-workout shake.
1 1/2 cups of Orange Juice
40 grams of whey protein isolate
1 serving Creatine
1 cup frozen fruit

| Use drop sets. Go to failure on one set of 8 to 10 reps than quickly take some weight off the bar and rep to failure again, trying to get 4 to 6 more reps Tip Credibility: 9 |
| Vary your caloric intake. By varying you caloric intake every few days instead of eating the exact same amount of calories every day, you can keep the starvation mechanism in check and continue to burn fat.
Tip Credibility: 8 |
| Incorporate high intensity interval training into your workout. Tip Credibility: 6 |
| Write short articles and submit them to top article directories like http://ezinearticles.com and http://goarticles.com Tip Credibility: 5 |
| Write a high quality press release and submit to top press release sites like http://prweb.com Tip Credibility: 9 |
| Be controversial and opinionated. Take a stand on something, especially if it's a current event in the news. Tip Credibility: 10 |
| Stay off the scale: The scale lies. You could train hard and eat right and build five pounds of muscle and lose five pounds of fat and what will the scale say? That you still weigh the same.
This leads to frustration, even though you've made good Tip Credibility: 19 |
