| The most effective way to get rid of slugs (better than even the best poison available) is to use stale beer(or new if you like) in a 3" wide by 1.5" high container. They will come from a wide area, crawl in, and drown. + No risk of poisoning your pets. Tip Credibility: 4 |
| Found this out the hard way - the beer will tend to attract slugs from a rather wide area, so don't place it in the middle of the flower bed, as the slugs will take bites off of flowers and veggies on their way to it. Best to place them at the edges. Tip Credibility: 5 |
